A growing family in Greenwich needed more space, and an addition to the back of the house, plus a renovation of the existing spaces, was the perfect solution. The renovated family room now has doors that open to the backyard, along with a custom built-in shelving unit. New bedrooms and a new laundry room were added to the 2nd floor. The staircase and hallway show off intricate, handmade moldings and trim. A traditional bathroom features a pedestal sink, dark flooring tiles set in a chevron pattern, and Greek key wallpaper. The house is also set up for year-round entertaining, with a custom-designed and hand-built pub in the basement and an outdoor entertaining area under the covered porch, including a built-in grill. The pub features a black granite countertop, repurposed wood cabinetry and trim, and stainless steel appliances.
