Private Retreat

This Ridgefield renovation and addition was completed over a 10-year period as per the phased-in construction plan. A variety of materials were used to create an eclectic aesthetic. The hand carved wood front door opens to a welcoming foyer that showcases just some of the custom-designed and handcrafted moldings and trim are that throughout the house. The white kitchen with rich wood accents is both highly functional and attractive. Each bathroom is unique; for example, one has metallic block wall tiles while the master bath features a contemporary freestanding tub. The game room boasts a dramatic vaulted wood ceiling. The outdoor three-season living space includes a pool, covered patio with ceiling heaters, covered outdoor kitchen, a wood fired pizza oven and a handcrafted fire pit.
