Pool, Patio, and Perfect

This Ridgefield backyard retreat is a one-of-a-kind masonry and landscaping project that leverages the contours of the land to produce the perfect pool and patio. The retaining wall, outdoor kitchen with built-in grill, and wood fired pizza oven are constructed from the same locally-sourced stones, lending a unified style. The copper vented roof protecting the outdoor kitchen was custom-designed for the space. The handcrafted fire table has plenty of seating. The covered space adjacent to the house provides a large, shaded area for sitting and dining, with comfort provided by ceiling heaters on chilly evenings. At the opposite end of the property, the pool and built-in hot tub are surrounded stone pavers, unifying the entire expanse.
