About Robert Liesegang
I started in the construction industry while in high school, working for one of the area’s most renowned custom homebuilders. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a dual degree in general business and finance, I followed my family’s tradition and joined the U.S. Marine Corps, where I learned the leadership and discipline techniques that I still use everyday in my business.
Upon leaving the Marine Corps, I worked in and mastered all aspects of home construction – framing, roofing, intricate trim work, and fine carpentry. That’s how I came to understand every detail that goes into the building of a house, addition or renovation. Only then did I feel ready to call myself a builder.
I launched Liesegang Building & Remodeling over 20 years ago with the idea of building long-lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors. I am proud to say that vision has come to fruition, and I now have a strong team of subcontractors who share my commitment to quality and ethics, while my business grows through referrals and repeat clients.
Why do my clients turn to me over and over again?
Personal attention and high quality work no matter the size of the job or the budget.
Clear communication so jobs flow smoothly with no misunderstandings, surprises or conflicts.
Subcontractors who have been with me since I opened my doors, so they know how I work, minimizing questions and disruptions to the schedule and the homeowner.
Relentless devotion to every detail on the project, so things are done right the first time.
Custom cabinetry and mill-work, so beautiful one-of-a-kind designs are possible.
Here is what you can expect from me, regardless of the type or size of project:
I am your only point of contact from beginning to end. This is the most efficient and effective process to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It is also easier for you, the homeowner.
I will develop a very detailed budget and review it with you before we sign contracts, clearly explaining what is included and what is not. My proposals are comprehensive and often include the small but important details that complete each project.
